Wondermorrow

Privacy policy

Your curiosity deserves care.

Updated September 12, 2026

Wondermorrow is provided by Cognfy LLC. This policy explains how the app and wondermorrow.com handle information. For questions or privacy requests, email support@cognfy.com.

Your learning, on your device

The app stores your interests, explanation preferences, learning progress, saved ideas and created paths on your device. An account is optional and does not currently synchronize your learning library or progress between devices. Your device and backup settings may affect how local data is backed up.

Optional accounts

If you register, we process your name, email address, sign-in identifiers, account preferences and acceptance records to provide your account. Cloudflare hosts the account service and database. Amazon Web Services delivers email verification codes. Session credentials are kept in your device’s Keychain; the server keeps a hashed session token.

When you choose Apple or Google sign-in, that provider processes authentication and shares the account information you authorize. These providers may process additional device, usage and network information under their own policies, including information associated with your provider account. Google’s sign-in SDK declares categories that include phone number, approximate location and device identifiers; you do not enter a phone number or grant location access directly to Wondermorrow. Apple authorization credentials are retained in encrypted form where needed to revoke access when you delete your account.

Creating learning paths with Pip

When you ask Pip to create a path, your topic, starting level and explanation preference are sent through Cognfy’s service to OpenAI for lesson generation and content safety checks. For Go deeper, we also send the source path and brief excerpts from completed lessons so the new lessons can build on them. A pseudonymous installation-derived identifier supports abuse prevention. Please avoid including personal, confidential or sensitive information in a topic.

You can turn off AI path creation in the app’s Settings. Your personal requests are not automatically added to our shared collection of reviewed lessons. OpenAI may retain information for abuse monitoring or other purposes described in its API data controls. Our generation requests disable saved response state; this is not a promise of zero provider retention.

To let creation continue when you leave the app, Cloudflare temporarily stores your request and the completed path. Jobs expire after 24 hours and are removed by scheduled cleanup, normally within the following hour. Canceling stops delivery; a provider request already underway may still complete. Paths saved on your device remain until you remove them.

Optional analytics and reminders

Usage analytics are off until you enable them. If enabled, PostHog processes app interactions, learning activity, app/device information and pseudonymous identifiers to help us improve Wondermorrow. We do not send your freeform topic text in these analytics events. Session replay is disabled. Turning analytics off stops future optional analytics; it does not automatically erase events already received.

Email nudges are a separate optional preference and are off by default. You can change the preference in Settings. Local reminder notifications also have separate controls and device permission. Signing in does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.

Subscriptions

Apple processes purchases and payment details. RevenueCat processes purchase history, subscription status and identifiers to provide Plus access and subscription analytics. Cognfy does not receive your payment-card details.

Website, security and service records

Cloudflare serves this website and our online services. Network requests include technical information such as IP address, user agent and request details. We and our providers process operational and security records to deliver content, prevent abuse and diagnose errors. The website does not add advertising pixels, session replay or optional analytics cookies. We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

We use Apple App Attest to check app integrity. Apple processes device attestation requests; our service stores a pseudonymous attestation key identifier, public key, validation receipt and replay counter to verify requests and prevent abuse. These records are separate from your account and are retained as needed to operate the integrity service.

Retention and your choices

We keep account information while your account is active and as needed to operate the service, handle requests and meet legal obligations. Authentication codes and sessions expire; related records are cleaned up separately. Security records, backups and service-provider records may have different retention periods. We do not promise that all copies are removed immediately when a code expires or an account is deleted.

You can delete your account in the app’s Settings. Successful deletion removes the account and linked sign-in records from our active account database. It does not erase local learning on your device, cancel an Apple subscription, or automatically delete records held independently by our service providers. See account and data deletion for the steps.

To request access, correction or deletion, email us. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights and a right to contact your local data-protection authority. Information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States.

Age and changes

Wondermorrow is intended for adults and teens aged 13 and older, not children under 13. We do not verify age through an identity service. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We may update this policy as the service changes and will update its date here.
